Charleston -- Supporters of West Virginia Senator Jay Rockefeller come together in Charleston to hear these words. "I'm running for re-election to the United States Senate," says Senator Rockefeller, (D)-West Virginia.
Senator Rockefeller says there's a lot of unfinished business in Washington like health care issues and the economy. He believes the country is in a mild recession that may get worse, but he's still undecided whether President Bush's plan to give the national economy a shot in the arm with tax breaks will do the trick.
"I don't want it to be used as an excuse to help people that have gotten all these tax cuts over the years, people that have so much money anyway. I want to make sure it's targeted to the right people," says Senator Rockefeller.
